Jonathan Trott has signed a contract extension with Warwickshire that will keep him at Edgbaston until at least 2015.

The England batsman joined the Bears in 2002 and struck a century on his County Championship debut against Sussex the following year. He has now scored 18 first-class hundreds for his county.

Trott said he was pleased to commit his future to Warwickshire and be part of an "exciting young squad that's capable of challenging for trophies" in the seasons to come.

"I'm looking forward to many more years here at Edgbaston," the 30-year-old added.

International cricket fans keen to see Trott play on his home ground may be interested in hospitality packages for the Test match between England and the West Indies at Edgbaston next year.

The last time the West Indies won a Test in England it was at Edgbaston in 2000, although England went on to take the series 3-1.
