Jonny Wilkinson 'back to his World Cup-winning best'

Jonny Wilkinson's current form could be enough to force his way back into England's starting line-up for the Investec Internationals, according to the president of his current club Toulon.
Speaking after the fly-half scored 23 points in a 28-16 win over defending champions Clermont Auvergne, Mourad Boudjellal insisted that Wilkinson's recent performances have been on a par with his displays in the 2003 World Cup.
"Wilkinson is one of the best outside-halves in the history of rugby, he showed that today. We rediscovered the Jonny of the 2003 vintage," he said. "It's a Jonny who, in my eyes, is much stronger than last season."
Although the 31-year-old's decision to join the French team raised eyebrows in the rugby world, Boudjellal insisted he is "100 per cent committed" to the side and even claimed fans have been travelling from England to watch him.
The multi-millionaire recently expressed his determination to tie Wilkinson down to a new contract in an interview with Midi Olympique.
