Jonny Wilkinson to get first start of the season
20/08/2010
Jonny Wilkinson is set to get his first opportunity to stake a claim on a place to play in front of people with rugby corporate hospitality seats in the autumn internationals.
The World Cup winning fly-half missed French club side Toulon's opening match loss to Bayonne with a shoulder knock, but he will be back in the team for tonight's (August 20th 2010) clash against Biarritz.
Wilkinson could have an important role to play if his side are to avoid slipping to successive defeats, given that Toulon will be without a host of big-name players for the game, including the likes of Argentinean star Felipe Contepomi.
He will be hoping to put in a strong showing in order to increase his chances of being picked for the autumn internationals, which kick off on November 6th 2010 against New Zealand.
Over the following three weekends, Australia, Samoa and South Africa will also arrive at Twickenham to take on England.
