In some extreme cases, the company has warned that these unsanctioned agents can be let down by their suppliers, leaving them - and their customers - without tickets for the event.
"This is highly embarrassing for both the host and their guests," it pointed out.
Consequently, it has published a ten-point practice guide designed as a warning to rogue hospitality tickets
Making clients aware of the source of their tickets, clearly explaining cancellation policies at point of sale and locating hospitality facilities within official areas are among the other measures listed in the code of conduct.
