Kevin Pietersen has been tipped to bring his hot run of form back from the subcontinent when he faces up to early-season English conditions with Surrey.

The England star, who blazed 151 in the recent Colombo Test before a spell in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in which he made his first T20 century, told the BBC he is glad to be back at the Kia Oval.

However, he admitted: "It's different conditions now and it's going to swing. It'll be testing."

Fans booking hospitality packages for the Test match against the West Indies at Lord's later this month will be hoping the former Hampshire batsman can continue his recent form there.

Reflecting on the superstar's IPL performances, Surrey cricket manager Chris Adams said: "I expect him to continue like that. I think he'll go out and play with confidence."

Kevin Pietersen's last Test at Lord's saw him score 202 not out against India.
