Lewis Moody keen to retain England captaincy

Lewis Moody has revealed he is eager to retain the England captaincy for the forthcoming autumn internationals.
The former Leicester Tigers flanker, who moved to rival outfit Bath at the end of last season, led Martin Johnson's side on their recent tour of the southern hemisphere.
Following what has largely been seen as a successful series against Australia - in which England drew 1-1 - the back-rower said he hopes to keep the role for future matches, such as the autumn internationals.
However, Moody said that before he can dream of captaining the side at Twickenham, he must first guarantee his selection.
"I have to earn my spot in that England team, then if Johnno still wants me to be captain and feels I'm up to the job then I'd love to do it again," he told Sky Sports News.
England's autumn internationals series kicks off on November 6th 2010 with a match against New Zealand, after which they will take on Australia, Samoa and South Africa.
