Long road back to Test cricket for Graham Onions
01/07/2010
Graham Onions has accepted it will be tough for him to win a recall for England to play in front of people with Test match tickets
The Durham fast bowler was dropped from the first XI during the tour of South Africa earlier this year and has since suffered injuries to his knee and back.
During his time away from the England side, Onions has had to watch on as a series of rival pace bowlers - including Ajmal Shahzad, Tim Bresnan and Steven Finn - have all emerged onto the international scene.
In particular, the six foot seven inches tall Finn has impressed both pundits and fans with Test match tickets
This has led Onions to accept that he may not be able to dislodge any other England's pace attack when he gets back to full fitness.
Speaking to Cricinfo, he said: "They are all producing the goods and the England team is a great place to be at the moment."
