Cheltenham Festival corporate tickets news: Dunguib backed to overcome nerves

Brian O'Connell has backed Dunguib to overcome his nerves and perform in front of racing enthusiasts with Cheltenham Festival corporate tickets.

The jockey will ride the horse in the opening race of the Cotswolds event, the Spinal Research Supreme Novices' Hurdle, on March 16th 2010.

Fans with Cheltenham Festival corporate tickets may be aware that Dunguib has enjoyed success at the meeting in the past, having triumphed in last year's Weatherby's Champion Bumper.

And the pressure will be on the horse this year as he looks to justify his position as pre-race favourite.

O'Connell expressed confidence that Dunguib will have no problem with the task at hand.

"There'll be plenty of pressure and nerves, I'm sure, but it's good pressure to have," he told At The Races. "He handled it last year and I can't see why he won't handle everything this year."

He will be hoping that Dunguib can follow in the footsteps of Go Native, who won the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at last year's event.
