England v Pakistan news: Andrew Flintoff will play again, says Peter Moores
08/03/2010
Cricket fans with Brit Oval England v PakistanODI tickets should not count out Andrew Flintoff's chances of being fit in time for the match.
The star all-rounder is battling a knee injury which he suffered in the victorious 2009 Ashes campaign and has resigned from Test match cricket.
But his coach at Lancashire, Peter Moores, has expressed confidence that Flintoff will be able to recover from his latest in a long line of knocks.
If the Preston-born player is able to take part in his county's 2010 campaign, it could mean he is in line for selection for the England v Pakistan ODI clash at the Brit Oval on September 17th.
Former England coach Moores said he has "no doubt at all" that Flintoff will play again.
And he claimed that the 32-year-old still has the desire to make an impact on the game.
"If Fred didn't want to play he wouldn't but he desperately wants to, he feels like he's still got unfinished business," he said.
