Test match tickets news: Give Eoin Morgan a chance, says Fraser

Angus Fraser has suggested Eoin Morgan should be picked to play in front of fans with England v BangladeshTest match tickets this summer.

The aggressive batsman has impressed in his appearances for England's limited overs sides, with his recent match-winning century in the second ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka earning him comparisons to the likes of Michael Bevan and Neil Fairbrother.

But pundits have questioned whether Morgan will have the necessary patience and technical ability to thrive at Test match level, given his lack of experience in the longer form of the game.

Consequently, former England fast bowler Fraser - who is Morgan's manager at Middlesex - called on England selectors to give the Irish star a chance in front of fans with England v BangladeshTest match tickets.

Speaking to Press Association Sport, Fraser said: "He's got the skill and ability to adapt to the longest form of the game.

"It may come down to whether England will be prepared to take a punt on him."

Morgan has yet to make his Test match debut, but currently averages 36.54 in first-class cricket.
