New manager appointed to Edgbaston hospitality facilities
Edgbaston hospitality guests hoping to enjoy some of the new facilities that have been created at part of the ground's redevelopment may be interested to hear a new manager has been appointed to oversee the running of the services.
Jamie Nevin will lead the team at the Edgbaston Experience, which is a joint venture between Warwickshire County Cricket Club and Compass Group, the parent firm of Keith Prowse.
It will promote top-class facilities including the Jaguar Club, the 1882 Club, Superboxes and the Edgbaston Suite, which are all part of the new development.
Mr Nevin said: "The Edgbaston Experience is about the coming together of lovers of cricket, clients, staff and the general public for cricket matchday and non-matchday hospitality, conferencing, events and exhibitions all under one roof."
Managing director at Keith Prowse Andrew Hodgkins added that the new appointment would see the hospitality services and the cricket club come together to offer a world-class experience that will "raise the bar" for corporate events in the area.
Individuals keen to experience the facilities at the redeveloped Edgbaston may like to attend the England v India test match, which takes place at the venue in August.
