No collapses at Lord's, urges Andy Flower

Andy Flower has said fans with Lords tickets must not have to witness another England batting collapse in the 4th Test match against Pakistan.

The tourists gave themselves a chance to level the four-game series in the final clash after winning by four wickets at the Brit Insurance Oval last weekend.

Despite a much-needed second innings century from the under-pressure Alastair Cook, England were restricted to just 222, with Mohammad Amir picking up five for 52 on his way to being named man of the match.

The dismissal of Cook heralded a collapse, with the final eight wickets falling for just 66 runs.

Head coach Flower has stressed it is unacceptable for this performance to be repeated in the 4th Test match, which gets underway this Thursday (August 26th 2010).

"Lord's should provide us with a very good opportunity to put things right and it is the responsibility of all of us to make sure that happens," he added.
