Pakistan bowlers issue stark warning to England

Pakistan showed fans with Test match tickets

The Baggy Greens were skittled for just 88 in the first innings at Headingley yesterday (July 21st 2010), managing to survive the barrage from the Pakistani pacemen for just 33.1 overs.

Making the most of favourable conditions - which Australia captain Ricky Ponting failed to exploit by opting to bat first - Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad Asif picked up three wickets apiece, while Umar Gul and Umar Amin chipped in with two and one respectively.

It will serve as a stark warning to England, who take on Pakistan in front of fans with Test match tickets

Former England opener Marcus Trescothick stressed last week in his Evening Post column that the tourists' attack could pose a threat.

The Somerset star described Asif as "the most skilful seamer in world cricket".
