Rahul Dravid calls for day-night Tests

Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid has called for the introduction of day-night Test matches to improve crowds.
Delivering the annual Bradman Oration in Canberra, the Indian batsman noted how Test attendances have fallen in his own country.
Discussing the options, he said: "In March of last year I played a day-night first-class game in Abu Dhabi for the MCC - and my experience from that was that day-night Tests is an idea seriously worth exploring."
While those enjoying corporate hospitality in the England against South Africa Test at the Kia Oval next summer will definitely be watching in daylight, such an idea may catch on in the future.
And as the traditional venue for the final Test of the summer in August, the south London ground may be a prime candidate for such a game, whereas June and July's long daylight hours could make such a move at another ground less practical.
Those keen to see a day-night international game at the ground late in the season can do so when England take on South Africa in a 50-over game on August 31st.
England's first floodlit one-day international at home was staged at Old Trafford in 2000, when Zimbabwe were the opponents.
