Rugby hospitality news: Three new faces for South Africa
Rugby corporate hospitality guests will see a very different South Africa side playing against the Barbarians on Saturday (December 4th), as coach Peter de Villiers added three uncapped players.
De Villiers has named Elton Jantjies, Coenie Oosthuizen and Andries Strauss in the starting 15 to face the BaaBaas at Twickenham, as the coach looks to test the trio on the international stage.
The Springboks have rung the changes from the team that defeated England 21-11 in the final Investec International last weekend, with seven enforced alterations adding to a total of 12 changes overall.
Werner Kruger and Charl McLeod could also step off the bench to make their debuts in the contest, as De Villiers aims to run the rule over the young talent at his disposal.
"The newcomers have been waiting for their chance and will bring energy and enthusiasm to the line-up at the end of a long season," De Villiers remarked.
South Africa will be keen to avenge the defeat suffered to the Barbarians in 2007 and the sides have a long history of playing each other, with both teams recording three wins in their previous six meetings.
