Rugby hospitality news: Ugo Monye relishing Barbarians clash
12/05/2010
Ugo Monye has said he is relishing the chance to play in front of fans with England v Barbarians rugby hospitality tickets.
The game, which will go ahead on May 30th 2010, will be the last chance for Martin Johnson's side to impress a home crowd before they jet off to the southern hemisphere to take on Australia and the New Zealand Maori.
England winger Monye quashed any fears that fans with rugby hospitality tickets for the Barbarians match would be watching little more than a training session by stating the side are keen to use the clash to build momentum.
"We'll be playing against stiff opposition and that's a great way to get some confidence before we go off to Australia this summer," the Harlequins three-quarter commented.
He added that Twickenham is a "very special place" for England to play.
Following the Barbarians match, the next time the side will take to the field at HQ will be in the first autumn internationals game against New Zealand on November 6th.
