Ryder Cup hospitality tickets news: Justin Rose 'in the hunt' for selection

08/06/2010

Justin Rose believes his recent good form could have put him on course to play in front of fans with Ryder Cup hospitality tickets later this year.

The Europeans and the US will clash at the Celtic Manor Resort in October 2010 and the Englishman, who is fresh from a victory at the Memorial Tournament, feels he is among the players vying for captain Colin Montgomerie's attention.

"I guess I'm right in the hunt there now, which is great," said Rose.

He went on to reveal that he is eager not to spend too long worrying about winning his place to represent Europe in front of people with Ryder Cup hospitality tickets, explaining: "I've been saying that for quite some time.

"The key is to just keep plugging away."

Following his recent win at the Wales Open, which took place at Celtic Manor, Graeme McDowell said he is confident the course is better suited to the European team than their rivals from across the Atlantic.
