Stuart Broad set for county return
26/04/2012
England all-rounder Stuart Broad is set to return to action for his county side Nottinghamshire after recovering from the injury that kept him out of the Test match in Colombo.
He will play next week after flying home with a calf strain after the defeat in Galle and this could ensure the new-ball pairing with James Anderson is restored in time for the Test match at Nottinghamshire's Trent Bridge ground at the end of next month.
Fans enjoying hospitality packages at the Test may be optimistic about England's chances of beating their Caribbean opponents, who are on the brink of a Test series defeat against Australia.
Trailing 1-0 after the first two Tests, the final encounter in Roseau is heading Australia's way after three days.
Having taken a first innings lead of 110, the tourists reached 200-6 in their second innings at the close, threatening to set the home team an insurmountable fourth-innings target.
