Corey Pavin has said fans with Ryder Cup hospitality tickets
Woods is currently lying in seventh place in the Ryder Cup points list, with the likes of Hunter Mahan, Ben Crane and Stewart Cink breathing down his neck. Eight players get selected for the squad automatically and four more are chosen as wildcards.
However, US team captain Pavin revealed that he is keen to take the star to the Celtic Manor resort this October to play in front of people with Ryder Cup hospitality tickets
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: "I'm not concerned about whether he'll make the team on points - it'll be fantastic, I want him on the team."
Pavin went on to state he is confident Woods will move even higher on the Ryder Cup points list in the coming months and that he should qualify for automatic selection with "no problem".
