Twickenham hospitality news: Foden ready for O'Gara's kicking game
09/04/2010
The workout which Ben Foden is likely to receive at the hands of Munster could stand him in good stead for future England matches watched by fans with Twickenham hospitality tickets.
Northampton full-back Foden was one of England's star performers in last month's Six Nations clash with France in Paris, in which he coped with a deluge of high balls.
His Saints side will face Irish province Munster in the Heineken Cup quarter-final this weekend (April 10th 2010) and Foden has said he is ready for a similar aerial bombardment from fly-half Ronan O'Gara.
The number 15 admitted that last time the two sides met in the group stages of the competition, O'Gara's kicking proved very effective.
But he was quoted by Planet Rugby as saying: "We've made a few plans to try to force Ronan to kick differently this time and to put more pressure on him.
"I think it is going to be a strength of ours to limit their kicking game."
If Foden comes through the encounter unscathed, it could cement his position as England full-back ahead of future games in front of Twickenham hospitality ticketholders, such as the Barbarians match on May 30th 2010.
