Twickenham hospitality news: Vesty follows Moody to Bath

08/04/2010

Sam Vesty will be hoping that his move to Bath will signal the return of a recall to play in front of England rugby fans with Twickenham hospitality tickets.

The Leicester Tigers utility back, who has been capped twice by England, has confirmed that he will leave the Welford Road outfit at the end of the season to join their bitter rivals from the West Country.

Having turned out for the Tigers 164 times, Vesty has said he is relishing a fresh challenge, which could catapult him up the England pecking order to play in front of fans with Twickenham hospitality tickets.

He revealed that he was keen on making the switch to the Recreation Ground because of the brand of rugby which Bath play.

"They like to get the ball into space and attack with ball in hand which is a style that not only suits me, but excites me also," Vesty remarked.

Vesty will join his current Leicester team-mate Lewis Moody at Bath next season after the back-rower confirmed his own move to the Rec last month.
