Lleyton Hewitt and James Ward are the first two players to receive wildcards for the highly anticipated AEGON Championships.

Both have performed well in the competition in the past and will be looking to impress once again when the tournament gets underway on June 11th.

Briton Ward had a memorable run to the semi-finals last year, while Hewitt triumphed at The Queen's Club in 2002, before going on to win the Wimbledon final. He has won the trophy four times in total.

The event usually attracts plenty of star names, which has made it a firm favourite among British tennis fans and corporate hospitality packages are in high demand once again.

Aussie Hewitt said he is delighted to have received the wildcard and he can't wait to take to the court.

"It's going to be great to come back after my injury and go straight out onto the best grass courts in the world," he remarked.

Ward is also looking forward to entertaining his fans and he said last year's AEGON Championships was a "fantastic experience".
