Keith Prowse bags brace in ISEM and MIMA Awards
Keith Prowse, the UK’s leading hospitality provider, has won silver medals in two major recent industry awards.
The announcement caps an encouraging year for Keith Prowse, official hospitality provider to iconic events such as the RBS 6 Nations at Twickenham and The Championships Wimbledon and corporate hospitality as a whole, supporting experts’ predictions of industry growth¹.
The company was recognised in the both the International Sports Management Awards, held at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in London on Wednesday 13th October, and the Meetings Industry Marketing Awards, which took place at the Park Plaza Riverbank on Monday 17th October.
Keith Prowse was awarded the silver prize in the Hospitality and Travel category at the ISEM Awards for The Gatsby Club, its flagship package for The Championships, Wimbledon.
Having held an official appointment at the iconic tennis tournament since 1982, Keith Prowse’s package at The Gatsby Club in 2012 embodied the best in sporting hospitality, with Michelin starred chef Albert Roux creating the menu and leading the kitchen team in a newly redesigned facility, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and Eames-inspired furnishings. The Gatsby Club was chosen to be the venue for the final of BBC2’s Service TV series, which followed a group of young people starting their careers in hospitality.
In the MIMA Awards, the following week, Keith Prowse picked up a sliver medal for its innovative Your Season magazine in the Best Brochure (Intermediary category).
The publication was praised by judges for its innovative content, which included sports articles alongside fashion pieces, hospitality news and tips for hospitality bookers. Keith Prowse struck up a partnership with fashion brand Jaeger for the campaign, allowing Your Season to benefit from tailored content provided by Jaeger and the magazine to be distributed in store at the flagship Regent Street branch in London.
Ted Walker, Head of Marketing at Keith Prowse said: “We are delighted to have been recognised in these two prestigious awards, which are a reflection of the achievements of both the operations and marketing sides of the company. Our commitment to continual innovation, whether in our dining experiences at the UK’s iconic sporting events or the way which we reach out to potential customers, has come to characterise the Keith Prowse offering; something which we are very proud of.”
