Keith Prowse commissions Michelin Star Chef Albert Roux

The Gatsby Club will be the greatest dining experience at Wimbledon for 2010

Wimbledon aficionados can expect to receive the finest dining experience at the tournament yet as world class Chef Albert Roux is designing the menu for the award winning art-deco style venue, The Gatsby Club, during The Championships, Wimbledon.

Roux is one of the most influential and revered chefs in the world, responsible for opening the first Michelin starred restaurant in London, Le Gavroche, and for training top names in cuisine including Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsay. After the immutable culinary impact Roux has had on Britain’s eating habits, it seems extremely befitting that he should add the most iconic British event of the year to his many accolades.

The Gatsby Club package will include Roux’s exquisite 3-course, 3-choice menu accompanied by matching fine wines, while tennis celebrity speakers will provide an introduction to the action. At no extra cost to the customer, this quintessentially British day out is available exclusively through Keith Prowse.

Although Roux is no stranger to Keith Prowse events, this will be his debut as Chef at The Championships, Wimbledon. Commercial Director, Andy Vinsen, said: “We’re confident that the combination of the Wimbledon Championships, the industry's top hospitality facility and the culinary skills of the first chef in the UK to earn his restaurant three Michelin stars, will result in the ultimate experience for hosts and guests alike.”

Keith Prowse is recognised as the UK's leader in corporate hospitality, synonymous with Britain’s most iconic sporting events including The Championships, Wimbledon, cricket at Lord’s and the Brit Insurance Oval, the achingly trendy Cartier Polio and rugby at Twickenham Stadium.
