Keith Prowse delivers 'Championship’ cuisine at Wimbledon

This year’s Wimbledon Championships has gone down in history as one of the hottest, but also the most delicious.
With the analysis of menu choices in, it appears that Murray fans opted for the ‘Scottish rib-eye of beef’ but guests’ fickle palates soon reflected the state of play when Ceaser salad was order of the day with Roddick’s supporters!
Over Wimbeldon fortnight, Keith Prowse’s Gatsby Club served:
- 2500 bottles of champagne, 21,000 glasses of Pimms
- 8000 punnets of strawberries
- 700 crabs went towards the Cornish crab salad starter
- Afternoon tea saw 10,500 finger sandwiches demolished and 7,000 hand iced cakes
- 28,000 pieces of cutlery were used
- 7,500 glasses were washed and polished
