Keith Prowse presents ultimate in corporate entertaining at The Championships
Press information: 9 April 2010
The world’s most iconic tennis tournament, The Championships, Wimbledon, takes place on 21st June – 4th July, and is a standout entry in the UK summer’s social diary.
Situated within the All England Lawn Tennis Club’s newly-transformed Centre Court, the Skyview Suites offered by Keith Prowse, the UK’s first for hospitality, will be an unrivalled corporate entertaining option during this year’s tournament. While legends are born on the world’s most famous grass court, guests will be treated to world-class service from Wimbledon’s official hospitality supplier.
Centre Court Skyview Suites are characterised by a highly personal service, from the chauffeur-driven car service which will run to and from SW19 to the dedicated butlers who will escort guests to their seats and attend to each suite throughout the day. Spacious balconies looking out onto the London skyline and air-conditioned interiors are intended to provide companies with the perfect opportunity to present their business in the perfect light, just a stone’s throw away from the action.
Packages include the best view in the house, from coveted Centre Court seats wider than previous years and featuring enhanced padding. The emphasis is on enjoyment as guests mix business with pleasure in an exhilarating environment starring the world’s best tennis players.
Guests will be greeted by a vintage champagne reception as they arrive on the fourth floor of the modernised Centre Court complex, with a four-course á la carte lunch to follow. The menu, crafted with the summer season in mind, will be accompanied by outstanding fine wines intended to compliment the food’s flavours, carefully selected from Keith Prowse’s extensive cellar.
Last year saw the unveiling of Centre Court’s revolutionary retractable roof, which will ensure play can be enjoyed throughout the day with no danger of a rain delay. Afternoon tea will be served, accompanied by a classic taste of Wimbledon; fresh strawberries and cream.
The Gatsby Club is also in operation during Wimbledon fortnight, presenting a menu designed by Michelin Chef Albert Roux.
Ted Walker, Marketing Manager at Keith Prowse, commented: “As we recognise that businesses will have varying requirements at this year’s Wimbledon, the Centre Court Skyview Suites and The Gatsby Club will offer differing environments with the same unequalled service we are renowned for.”
