The Hurlingham Club venue

Polo was first played in Hurlingham Park in 1874 and a year later the adjacent Hurlingham Club became the official headquarters for the sport in Britain. The Park hosted the 1908 Olympics Polo Final which saw England winning gold and polo remained a regular weekend fixture at Hurlingham until 1939. Nowadays, The Hurlingham Club is a stunning private members club set in 42 acres of lush grounds featuring an ornamental lake with beautifully manicured croquet lawns and rose gardens.
