Cowes Week 2012 Race Charter packages

This is a unique opportunity to compete in a major sporting event. Take on the world's finest sailors at their own game. We will work with you to provide the perfect racing package for your specific requirements. From a production 40ft yacht to a one off Grand Prix Maxi Yacht crewed by Olympic and Americas Cup Sailors. We have the knowledge, ability and experience to deliver the ultimate participation corporate event!

The support does not stop on the water; we provide a complete regatta support package which includes everything from transport and accommodation (houses and hotels) to catering (onboard, at restaurants or even in-house chefs) and branded clothing. Race charter packages are available by the day or for the entire week.

The Crew

Each racing yacht has a minimum professional crew of two (dependant on the boat selected) for the duration of the charter. Both skipper and mate have extensive Solent racing and corporate charter experience. The skipper holds the Royal Yachting Association Yacht Master qualification with endorsements for commercial charter as required by the Marine & Coastguard Agency.

Crews are selected for their experience in corporate hospitality charter environments, their level of service and their ability to communicate both professionally and socially with their guests, while maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere on board.

The Boats

Introducing the match race prepared Academy F40

The Academy F40 is an ideal choice for Corporate Race Charters. The boat caters for up to 10 guests, being relatively simple to sail by a novice Crew whilst providing close racing in a competitive fleet of other similar yachts.

The F40 is race prepared to match racing standard and with our hand-picked professional skippers and crew, the chances are good for your team to reach the podium.

An Academy trophy is handed out each day to the winning yacht, alongside the F40 class trophy.

We have designed this program so your guests can experience the thrills of winning yacht races.

Post Racing

After the racing the après sail begin. Enjoy Champagne, beer and canapés on the return to your berth in the marina along with all the other racing yachts. Later in the marina village there will be live music and entertainment as the yacht racers compare stories over a few beers in the world famous beer tent.

Depending on your itinerary we are able to arrange dinner, accommodation or return transport to the mainland. Cowes Week race charter packages are available by the day or for the entire week.
