Overview

Keith Prowse (keithprowse.co.uk) are the UK’s leading hospitality provider, with official status at many iconic venues and stadia across the country. They’re in the process of growing a number of key contracts and as such a new, senior position within the marketing team is being recruited.

The Championships, Wimbledon will be evolving in the year ahead as Keith Prowse enter into a single hospitality vendor partnership. The Senior Marketing Manager will form part of a team, dedicated in working alongside the client to develop a brand, product and go-to market proposition.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable sales & marketing strategy with the Head of Twickenham Sales, and implementing against the same.  The role would suit a passionate and ambitious marketing professional who is looking to develop their career.

Overall Purpose of the Role

  • Develop a collaborative working relationship with the client, which includes maximising hospitality messages across all channels, i.e. within the stadium and c/o partners, sponsors and events
  • Proactive and ongoing evaluation of customer segments and messaging (B2B and B2C), utilising omni-channels (Microsoft Dynamics, Dotmailer, website and social media)
  • Build on existing marketing plans and enhance the strategy, working collaboratively across the team to deliver against agreed initiatives; ongoing emphasis on revenue growth (new business and retention)
  • Ensure that marketing objectives continue to drive targeted traffic to the website (traffic, enquiry and conversion volumes need to be in line with inbound sales targets).Note that cms, seo and ppc are managed within the team
  • Tracking kpi and spend – reporting and budget management capability
  • Oversee development of a content and social media strategy to support ongoing business growth; whilst there are SEM, content and social specialists within the team, there will be an ongoing need to provide proactive direction and support
  • Adherence to contractual clauses regarding provision of data and consents will be a priority, hence a knowledge of DPA and GDPR is essential
  • Brand ambassador; ensure that all aspects of work carried out adhere to agreed brand guidelines

Person Specification

  • 6+ years of B2B marketing experience, CIM/Degree level qualification desirable – knowledge of B2C, which is a grown area, would be advantageous
  • A proven track record in motivating, developing and managing a team
  • Aptitude to grow/develop the role
  • Proactivity and ability to multi-task
  • Good attention to detail
  • Understand company strategy and big picture
  • Self-motivated and a team player

  • Approachable and flexible attitude, especially in relation to working hours, which if attending events will include the odd weekend dates
  • Team orientated focus
  • A ‘can do, will do’ attitude
