Keith Prowse, Edgbaston Stadium and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), care about our customers; health and safety is our number one priority. If any decisions are made by the UK Government in 2021 that impacts planned hospitality at Edgbaston, we will communicate with customers directly and in a timely manner. Relevant details will also be posted on our website.
In the unlikely event of cancellation in 2021, customers will be reimbursed in full and these FAQ have been compiled to answer your questions.
If Edgbaston Stadium fixtures in 2021 are cancelled, or take place behind closed doors, will I be entitled to a refund?
All those that have booked 1882 Club, Re Wyatt Boxes, Warwickshire Suite, Executive Boxes, Aylesford Boxes or Edgbaston Experience Club, for any Edgbaston Stadium fixtures will be entitled to a full refund or the opportunity to roll over credit to another fixture. Money to the value paid in GBP will be refunded to the original payment source (and the only currency we deal with is GBP) or credited.
If someone pays by a credit card which at the time of refund has expired, we would revert to a BACS payment, which for administrative reasons may add a week or so to the refund timeframe.
If I am entitled to a refund, when and how will money be repaid?
Customer refunds in 2020 were made within two months of the date of cancellation. At the current time, it’s envisaged that future timeframes will be the same and these FAQ will be updated should we become aware of any deviation.
If any Edgbaston Stadium fixtures in 2021 are cancelled, or take place behind closed doors, will I be able to transfer my booking to 2022?
All customers will be given the option to transfer on a like for like basis (same day on the schedule of play, same facility and same price), refund or to hold the value of their booking on account for a full calendar year. You will be asked to choose the most suitable option for you if we have cause to contact you regarding a cancellation.
In order to secure the date and package of choice, I’m likely to pay up to a year in advance. How safe is my money?
Keith Prowse only sells official hospitality, which means the experience and the investment itself is guaranteed. We are supported by our parent company, Compass Group, who are FTSE 100. Any refund due is guaranteed and will be paid in full.
I booked hospitality via an officially appointed reseller for an event that has been cancelled. Will I be entitled to a refund?
In the first instance you will need to discuss this directly with the supplier in question. In the case of Edgbaston, officially appointed resellers are contractually obliged to offer a choice - either transfer from '21 to '22 on a like for like basis at no additional cost or refund monies in full. If you have any problems in progressing your claim, please share details of the related correspondence with us and we will endeavour to discuss the matter directly on your behalf.
If, having booked, I or my guests decide at a later date not to attend due to Coronavirus COVID-19 concerns, will I be entitled to a refund?
Outside cancellation of an event at the recommendation of UK Government, our usual booking Terms and Conditionswill apply.
