England Under 17, World Cup

England are world champions after coming from 2-0 down to beat Spain 5-2 in India. The winning goals were scored by Rhian Brewster, the tournament’s top scorer and Morgan Gibbs-White scoring the equalizer to score the equalizer. These were then followed by Marc Guehi and two from Phil Foden to complete the comeback. This win means they have become the second England youth side to win a World Cup this summer, the other being the Under-20’s victorious in South Korea.

F1 Mexican Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton has become Britain's most successful F1 driver after winning his fourth world championship.Hamilton secured his fourth title at the Mexican GP with the feat taking him clear of three-time world champion Sir Jackie Stewart on the roll-call of British F1 champions.

NFL at Twickenham

Sunday's week 8 game at Twickenham Stadium saw Minnesota Vikings beat Cleveland Browns, in what turned out to be a relatively exciting game. Fans watched the Vikings pull away from the winless Browns team in the fourth quarter to reach a full-time score of 33-16 after trailing 13-12 at halftime. This was the first time this NFL season the Browns have claimed a mid-game lead. 

The following Minnesota Viking players scored on Sunday: quarterback Case Keenum who threw for two touchdowns, a 1-yard touchdown run by Jerick McKinnon -- and McKinnon's 2-point conversion -- as well as a 5-yard touchdown reception by tight end Kyle Rudolph, Kai Forbath's four field goals and Adam Thielen had five catches for 98 yards and a touchdown to reach their final score.

Cleveland Browns finished on their final score with a 26-yard touchdown run by Isaiah Crowell, a 1-yard run by rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer with 40 seconds remaining in the first half and then a 23-yard field goal by Zane Gonzalez's.

Sunday's NFL game concluded the 2017 London Series.
